On October 27, 2021 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Djibouti to Japan Ibrahim Bileh Doualeh presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty Naruhito ,  Emperor of Japan.  

The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan H.E. Mr. Takeo MORI received on Friday, the copies of the Letters of Credence of Ambassador Ibrahim Bileh Doualeh. During the meeting, the state of cooperation between the two countries was discussed, including Japan's support to the Republic of Djibouti in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
