From the 14th to the 15th March 2019, Prime Minister, Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, went on an official visit to Jakarta, Indonesia, to be handed over the Prize of Good Governance awarded this year to President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh by Cambridge IFA Institut as a reward for his leadership and innovation in the sectors of good governance and transparency.

Mr. Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed was received by Indonesia Vice-president, Jusuf Kalla, with whom he discussed the ways and means to reinforce the bilateral relations between the two countries. Mr. Ahmed Araïta Ali, Ambassador of Djibouti in Tokyo (Japan) and in Jakarta, attended the meeting.

On this occasion, Djibouti Prime Minister solicited the support from the government of Indonesia to reinforce the capacities and capabilities of national experts involved in the geothermal industry in Djibouti.
