The Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to Japan, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Araita Ali, on Wednesday the 14th paid a visit to L’Institut Francais, Japan during which he answered several questions about his country, Francophonie and relations with Japan. The key word used was “discovery” as he talked about the strong ties existing between Japan and excellent relations with Ethiopia, the natural wealth of Djibouti and invited everyone present to discover for themselves the beauty of the country.
In the same light, he was invited to give a speech at the Intercultural Seminar hosted by La Delegation Générale du Quebec, Tokyo and the Embassy of Canada, on Monday 19th on the advance and value of Francophonie in the world today. This was following a presentation given by Professor Jacques Proulx on favoring intercultural communication between Japanese and foreigners from anywhere in the world.
